Business Development Manager
In Short:
We’re looking for a tech savvy business development manager with a proven track record in mobile and/or “app”-vertising. You will be responsible for revenue generation at Blu Trumpet; you will head our client relationships and help build our mobile app developer publisher base. We’re looking for the right mix of energy, professionalism, and technical expertise that will attract and engage a wide range of mobile developers.
Ideally, You:
• Have proven experience and relationships in business development, on-line or mobile advertising, and affiliate networks
• Are pro-active, high energy, and excited about working in a fast paced venture-backed startup environment
• Have experience closing deals with app publishers (preferably mobile)
• Thoroughly understand the mobile app ecosystem, including: social dynamics, user behavior, app stores, etc.
• Have product management experience & can bring the publishers’ perspective to the table during product development discussions
• Have enough technical expertise to effectively communicate with clients about our product and its integration into their code
At Blu Trumpet You Will:
• Initiate contact, pitch Blu Trumpet, and secure/nurture relationships with front-runner start-ups and app developers
• Work holistically with the Blu Trumpet team to develop the next generation of products tailored to your analysis of the clients’ needs
• Create & execute excellent sales pitches & presentations specifically positioned for mobile developers
• Identify market trends and work with our product development team to ensure that Blu Trumpet products are up to speed
A degree from a top school is preferred, but a proven track record trumps all. Ultimately, we are looking for an experienced, creative, and highly ambitious entrepreneurial manager who is committed to initiating, developing, and maintaining client relationships.
